History

At Spetisbury, we aim to deliver a high-quality history curriculum, with a combined skill and knowledge-based approach, which inspires and enriches pupils’ curiosity to learn and know more about historical figures and events of the past and how this impacts our lives today. We want to ignite a spark in our potential historians of the future by developing pupils’ understanding of their local history as well as expanding their knowledge and understanding of the British Isles and the wider world through high-quality classroom lessons, educational visits and visitor workshops.
