We’re so much more than what you see from the A350.
Set in beautiful, expansive grounds, Spetisbury Church of England Primary School offers a truly unique learning environment for a school of our size. We’re incredibly proud of our facilities—but even more proud of what happens within them: children who are happy, confident, curious, and thriving.
We warmly invite all prospective families to book a tour and come see us in action. You’ll quickly see: this is a place where children grow.

Choosing the right school is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make for your child—and we know it’s about much more than test scores or glossy brochures. It’s about finding the place where your child will feel safe, valued, stretched, and supported.
At Spetisbury, we believe we offer just that.
Here’s what makes our school special:
We are incredibly lucky to have large, open grounds—unusual for a school of our size. Our rural setting gives children the freedom to explore, play, and learn in nature. We use our environment as a living classroom, where imagination, movement, and discovery flourish daily.
Our curriculum is rooted in the National Curriculum, but it’s brought to life through engaging projects, cross-curricular themes, and meaningful real-world links. We hook learning with trips, visits and experiences that help children connect knowledge to the world beyond the classroom.
We aim to develop resilient, reflective, and responsible learners. Children are taught to think critically, act kindly, and work independently. Our curriculum builds life skills as well as knowledge—confidence, self-awareness, organisation, and the ability to embrace challenge.
Our team is made up of skilled, passionate professionals who care deeply about every child’s progress and wellbeing. Relationships matter here—and it shows in every classroom, corridor and playground interaction.
Our school is grounded in its Christian vision of “Growing and maturing in our learning journey.” These values underpin not only our worship and ethos, but our daily decisions and long-term aspirations. Children leave Spetisbury with strong moral foundations and a deep respect for themselves and others.
We have an open-door ethos—families and staff working in partnership to give every child the best start. We value parents as partners and welcome their involvement in school life.
Spetisbury is a place where children are happy, purposeful and eager to learn. Our older children act as role models and leaders, and everyone is encouraged to contribute to school life. From competitive sport to collective worship, from creative clubs to leadership roles—there is something here for every child to shine in.
By the time they leave Year 6, our pupils are:
Confident and articulate
Independent and resilient
Kind, reflective and ready for their next steps
They go forward not only well-prepared for secondary school—but ready for the world.
We know the best way to understand what makes Spetisbury so special is to visit us. We don’t put on a show—you’ll see the school just as it is: warm, welcoming, and full of joyful learning.
We look forward to meeting you.
