Our Vision

OUR VISION

At Spetisbury CE  Primary School we believe in allowing everyone to realise their full potential, within the context of a Christian ethos. Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. We recognise the potential of each individual and the importance of nurturing and developing every aspect of their personality. Throughout our school trees form a symbolic pillar of our vision; in the entrance, on our celebration wall, on our logo, and around our environment. We have used this to help build our vision and tagline of:

“Growing and maturing in our learning journey”

DEEPLY ROOTED VISION

The book of Psalms can be seen to instruct in a life of faith. Psalms 1  begins this instruction and also helps provide a biblical underpinning for our vision. Verse 3 shows great aspiration and alongside our school logo provides the vision for all of our school community.

"They are like trees that grow beside a stream,
that bear fruit at the right time
and whose leaves do not dry up,
they succeed in everything they do.”
